Workforce development services and training are based upon your business’s defined needs and desired outcomes, training for all levels of employees can be developed through our partners.
On-the-Job Training
The On-the-Job Training (OJT) is administered by the Mahoning & Columbiana Training Association under the authorization of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). An OJT can help defray up to 50 percent of the cost of wages during a new employee’s initial training period.
Assessment
Testing and assessment services available through the OhioMeansJobs Centers and its partners can be useful in determining a job profile and uncovering the potential for employees to increase their skills so they can progress further in the organization.
