Many support services are available to eligible employees through the OhioMeansJobs Centers. These include health care coverage, child care, transportation and income management. By identifying issues contributing to turnover and referring employees to the Center for assistance, employers can increase the retention of their workforce, saving time and money.
OhioMeansJobs Partner Staff can follow up with all employees who are referred by OhioMeansJobs and hired.
This can include regular contact with the employee and the supervisor to identify any potential barriers to employment as they arise.
