OhioMeansJobs Partners work together to create a system of employment and training services for job seekers and employers that is easily accessible and user friendly.
In 2014, the Workforce Innovation & Opportunities Act (WIOA) was signed into law creating the American Job Center network. WIOA enhances the service delivery system and enriches services to customers, both job seekers and employers. In Ohio, American Job Centers are known as OhioMeansJobs Centers.
Many partners are co-located at the OhioMeansJobs Centers providing staff to help job seekers and employers find resources and services to meet their individual needs. To learn how your agency could benefit from partnering with OhioMeansJobs Mahoning or Columbiana county, click here.
